Types of detectors available

MSA Altair CO portable single-gas detector (Carbon monoxide)

The MSA Altair CO is a portable detector capable of measuring the presence of carbon monoxide in the atmosphere.

A CO concentration greater than 50 ppm will trigger an initial audible alarm, a visual alarm thanks to flashing LEDs and significant vibrations. When the CO concentration exceeds the 200 ppm threshold, a second alarm will trigger. During an alarm, the screen displays the alert status "ALARM" "LO" or "HIGH".

A single, intuitive and easily accessible button allows you to control all the functions of the detector, including its activation, screen lighting, test configuration, alarm programming, infrared connection with a computer and the shutdown of the device.

This portable and versatile device proves essential to ensure the safety of workers in environments where carbon monoxide represents a potential health risk.

2-year lifespan or 1080 alarm minutes

The Altair carbon monoxide detector has a lifespan of two years or 1080 alarm minutes. After this period, the device continues to operate as long as the battery is charged, but it must be recycled once the battery is empty.
